Since its foundation in 1994, TABUK has passed several milestones in its journey towards becoming a successful player in the global generics pharmaceutical industry.

Headquartered in Riyadh , Saudi Arabia , with GMP facilities in Tabuk city, the company has strong presence across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and a promising outlook in Eastern and Western Europe and the USA . TABUK has also established strong relations with Japanese companies, mainly in the field of in-licensing of unique products

TABUK is the largest local privately owned manufacturer in Saudi Arabia and the only company with European GMP and soon US FDA certified facilities. The facilities are divided into cephalosporin and non-cephalosporin areas. TABUK is amongst the few companies in the Middle East that can manufacture oral as well as sterile cephalosporin antibiotics.

One of Tabuk's major assets is its Marketing, Sales and Distribution Network, which covers all the Middle East and North African countries. Through this network, TABUK has reached a leading position in the three segments (private, tenders and institutions) of a growing and increasingly competitive market. In 2004, TABUK sales of US$ 50 Million in Saudi Arabia have put the company at rank number 6 among major players in the Kingdom.

Outside the MENA region, a number of Tabuk's products already received Marketing Authorizations while many other products are under regulatory approvals in USA and different European countries (i.e. UK , France , Sweden , ...etc.)

TABUK is continuously working in three strategic areas:

1) In-licensing of innovative, patented and differentiated products to manufacture, market, sell and distribute in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia , Middle East and North African countries.

2) Out-Licensing of marketing authroizations obtained in different European countries, registration dossiers in CTD format and ANDA'a.

3) Contract Services: Contract Manufacturing and contract Products development for patented and off patent products.
